Lifetime Warranty Policy

At MONTIQ, we stand behind the quality of every product we make. That's why every genuine MONTIQ Tracking Card is backed by our Lifetime Warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

Our Lifetime Warranty is designed to give you long-term confidence in your purchase and applies in addition to your statutory consumer rights.

What's Covered

Our Lifetime Warranty covers manufacturing defects that affect the normal functionality of your MONTIQ Tracking Card, including:

  • Manufacturing defects in materials
  • Defects in workmanship
  • Failures that occur during normal, intended use

If a warranty claim is approved, MONTIQ will repair or replace the product with the same model or, if unavailable, a comparable replacement at our discretion.

Warranty Service Fee

Approved warranty replacements are subject to a £12.50 service and shipping fee, which helps cover handling, processing, and delivery of your replacement product.

This fee does not apply if your product arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect upon delivery. In those cases, MONTIQ will cover all replacement and shipping costs.

What's Not Covered

The Lifetime Warranty does not cover:

  • Loss or theft
  • Accidental or intentional damage
  • Cosmetic wear and tear from normal use
  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, or improper handling
  • Damage caused by unauthorised repairs, modifications, or alterations
  • Water damage caused by use outside the product's stated specifications
  • Damage caused by fire, chemicals, excessive force, or other external factors
  • Products that remain linked to an Apple Find My or compatible Android tracking account when returned
  • Battery performance that naturally decreases over time due to normal use
  • Products purchased from unauthorised sellers or resellers

How to Submit a Warranty Claim

To submit a warranty claim, please email info@gomontiq.com and include:

  • Your full name
  • Your order number or proof of purchase
  • A brief description of the issue
  • Clear photos or a short video showing the problem

Our support team will review your claim and respond as quickly as possible.

If your claim is approved, we'll provide:

  • A Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number
  • The correct return address
  • Instructions for returning your product

Please do not return any product until you have received written authorisation from MONTIQ. Unauthorised returns may experience processing delays or may not be accepted.

Before Returning Your Product

Before sending your Tracking Card back, you must:

  • Remove the device from your Apple Find My or compatible Android tracking account.
  • Package the product securely to prevent damage during transit.
  • Include your RMA number inside the parcel.

Products that remain linked to a tracking account cannot be processed until they have been removed.

Replacement Products

Replacement products supplied under this Lifetime Warranty may be new or refurbished to the same performance standard.

If the original product is no longer available, MONTIQ reserves the right to provide an equivalent product of equal or greater value.

Limitation of Warranty

This Lifetime Warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

The warranty covers manufacturing defects only and does not provide refunds outside the terms of our Return & Refund Policy.

MONTIQ reserves the right to refuse a warranty claim where evidence indicates the product has been used outside its intended purpose, tampered with, or where the defect falls under the exclusions listed above.

Consumer Rights

This Lifetime Warranty is a voluntary manufacturer's warranty and is provided in addition to your statutory consumer rights. Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws, including your rights under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, EU consumer protection law, or equivalent legislation in your country of residence.
